I just made a personal commitment to return to my bohemian roots... but wondered if I could really find my way back. I never would have guessed that I’d actually get an invite and a map! Thank you, Erik. Can’t wait to see you there...

The Alembic sounds like my kind of place! I wish I lived closer. Feeling some dharmic FOMO. Congratulations on its birth and wishing you great success. We need more pluralistic attractor sites like it in North America.

Well you are just to sort of cat we hope to attract -- both in terms of practice orientation and in terms of teaching. Hopefully the Alembic will get to the place that we can zap teachers like you in for workshops and gatherings...

Thanks for the reminder MG! I knew the studio also grew into the guitar company; I found this cool history online. http://alembic.com/prod/europa.html

I always thought of "Alembic" as a very Bear-oriented term. There are still other Alembics in the Bay -- there is a bar near me on the Haight, and an herb shop called Alembique. But mostly people have no idea what the word means! "Olympic?" Haha!
