Just subscribed to the Expanding Mind Youtube channel – I can't even tell you how this podcast, er, expanded my mind as a 20-something wannabe writer back in the day! You could always tell you'd read the book, and I appreciated that, I felt there was real and rare depth to your questions. Thanks to you and Maja for being so inspirational and interesting, and I'm glad the archive is now so easily available.
Isn`t ever-expanding mind similar to the economic idea of limitless growth and as such, is it sustainable? I mean how big can your mind get? Is there a danger of psyche-obesity where too much input disturbs basic function?
I found the EM archive Tuesday and thought it must be a bot channel. There’s a two parter with Pasulka before American Cosmic was released and you two make for a great collaboration. I’d enroll in that class.

I also want you to know how much the podcast has meant to me personally. During the COVID pandemic, when I was isolated indoors for an extended period, your voice and the conversations you cultivated helped me remain grounded and connected to a larger world of ideas. I listened constantly, often while making my artwork, and the podcast became a steady companion during a profoundly disorienting time.
Hearing it again has reminded me just how much I appreciate what you’ve created. Thank you for bringing the series back—and for the curiosity, intelligence, and deeply human presence you have sustained through it.

I noticed when the YouTube channel recently went live, and I was thoroughly delighted by it. I also continue to be grateful for your invitation to the show some 14 years ago. Our conversation on the Daemonic Creativity episode remains one of my favorite podcast appearances among the ones I've done.
Very cool, I listened to the show back in the day, glad it’s back online, there could be random old episodes available as MP3 files on people’s old iTunes libraries, if you make a list of the missing episodes people can let you know if they still have copies
I recall some time ago reading that Podbean’s owners were Christian. If that’s still true, and it’s the satanic-panic variety, i suspect you may have an explanation for the strange disappearance of the entire Expanding Minds archive. I’m glad it was there while it was, listening to that huge back catalog really helped get me through early Covid times. Glad most of it has been salvaged in some form.
This is the best news I’ve heard in a long time!! Next step is to get every episode transcribed, indexed, annotated and released in 10 leather bound, gilt-edged editions to be displayed in every modern mutant’s deteriorating home. There’s a graduate school-level education hidden in those gems!!!
